Facility

The Salmon Arm Fish and Game Club (SAFGC) leases its property from the City of Salmon Arm. Members and guests access the shooting ranges using a key FOB or an entry code that will open the electronic gate. Duty personnel from law enforcement agencies train at the SAFGC on the tactical ranges that they rent.

The club offers outdoor archery, shotgun and trap, handgun and long rifle ranges for members and their guests to use. Each shooting range has a covered area, or shooting bay, to shelter you from the elements. The handgun and long rifle shooting ranges have warm up additions that you can use in the winter.

The heated clubhouse is open and contain washroom and kitchen facilities for you to use. Outdoor toilets are located around the property for your use.

The relationship we have with our neighbours is important; please give them the right of way if they are riding their horses or walking their dogs. Neighbours use the our property to access the trails at the bottom of the hill that lead to the Larch Hills.

Gate Schedule: 7:00 am – 9:00 pm (gate activates at 7:00 am)

Shooting Hours: 7:30 am – 9:00 pm

If you arrive before 7:00 am in the morning the gate will not work when you use your key FOB or entry code. At 7:00 am the gate schedule activates and only then will your key FOB work and open the gate.
