About the Codes of Conduct

Codes of conduct outline the behaviour and expectations the Salmon Arm Fish and Game Club (SAFGC) has for its members and its executives. When you join our club or renew your membership, you agree to conduct yourself appropriately as a member in good standing, abide by its Bylaws, Policies and all shooting range safety rules and regulations.

If you are a member of the Board, an executives’ code of conduct will apply to you as well as the members’ code of conduct.

Executives’ Code of Conduct

The Executives’ Code of Conduct applies to executives serving on the Board of Directors. Executives on the Board of Directors are expected to act in good faith with the interests of the club and the community in mind; exercise care and diligence in the performance of their duties; and manage the club’s financial resources and assets responsibly.

Members’ Code of Conduct

The Members’ Code of Conduct applies to all members in the club. As a member you agree to follow the members’ code of conduct, act responsibly and behave in a safe manner, respect the club’s property, bylaws and rules, and respect law, land and property you recreate on. Regardless of the position a member holds in the SAFGC, as a member this code of conduct applies you and all SAFGC members.
